Minecraft 1.0.0 will be the largest, most content-diverse update in all of Minecraft history. While we are still developing Minecraft Beta, we are currently working behind the scenes on Minecraft 1.0.0. 1.0.0 will be the final release of the game (not including bug fixes and dlc releases) and as such will take time.
